My journey began in the (sounds-more-glamorous-than-it-is) world of global advertising, where I spent 13 years sprinting between Brussels, New York, Singapore, and London.Like many, I was living entirely in my head—constantly thinking, planning, and worrying. Despite outward success, I felt disconnected, anxious, and unable to consistently rely on myself.I first discovered breathwork during a freediving course. From the first session, I was hooked by the calming effect on the volume and intensity of my thoughts. I vividly remember walking home that day and thinking: “Really?? All this time, something so simple?!”That experience showed me something profound:The solution to better performance wasn't in my mind, but in my body.A (some might say slightly obsessive) period of breath science, nervous system regulation and neuroscience study followed.I worked with coaches, signed up for courses, overloaded my Kindle with books. The more I learned and explored, the more I realized this is what I want to spend all my time and energy on, and I left my full-time job.Today, from my base in sunny Lisbon, I help people discover their body's hidden nervous system features through the Nervous System Potential Coaching Program, and my newsletter Stretch.Here's why I'm so obsessed with this work:I now believe that most of us are operating our incredible human systems at default settings, unaware of the extraordinary capabilities within.Every experience we have—from creative breakthroughs to stress responses—happens through our nervous system.
